Petersgate appreciates the support of the Trustees on its governance Board.

Most Trustees hail from Petersgate’s Constituents – the organisations that support and believe in our work. They, as prescribed in Petersgate’s Deed of Trust, nominate representatives and the current Board appoints them. All are volunteers who meet monthly.

We are thrilled to announce Hon Dr Megan Woods, who has been the Member of Parliament for Wigram since 2011, as Petersgate Counselling Centre's first Patron.

Megan is the Minister of Housing, Minister of Energy and Resources, Minister of Research, Science and Innovation and Associate Minister of Finance within the current Labour Government.

Megan's support of Petersgate will bring some much-needed attention to the current mental health crisis in New Zealand as a result of the uncertainty and unpredictability of Covid-19.

I have been so impressed with the professionalism of Petersgate's counsellors in their tireless commitment to providing affordable professional counselling to people in need.
